This fantastic French wooden trinket box is in the shape of a little sofa. The ‘seat’ is hinged and lifts for you to store treasures inside. The back of the sofa has four copper ‘buttons’ and has the word Cherbourg on the corner. The seat area has a circular pattern with a brilliant transfer of a man in traditional French costume. In lovely condition for its age. Could also be used as a desk tidy, phone rest, anything yo like - or even in a doll’s house.
