Very sweet Mabel Lucie Attwell collectors plate by Davenport Pottery. The plate is titled ‘ How Good Is Good’ and features a young girl discovering a nest of baby birds. The plate was made in 1988 and limited to a 150 days firing period. The plate is in excellent condition. There is a Mabel Lucie Attwell poem on the reverse that goes:
How good of God to make the world
To make such lovely things to see
The stars, the flowers, the baby birds
and then, to put in me!
