Laurianna Cave Painting Wall Pocket. 1960s/70s Vintage.

This lovely Laurianna jar shaped wall pocket still has it’s yellow hanging cord, and features a brown and black cave painting style design on a grey brush stroked background.
Philip Laureston Smith and artist Christine Anna Cruse (Philip’s wife) were responsible for some of the hand painted work on the Laurianna Studio range (1963/73). These designs featured wild animals based on the Lascoux cave paintings or medieval buildings in France.
The pocket is in lovely condition, but does have all over age related crazing.
