This gorgeous Royal Doulton plate depicting a Jester is part of The Professionals series. The plate was produced sometime between 1948 - 1960 and is stamped D6277. The plate is a very soft yellowish cream in colour, with a lovely design of a court jester which has been beautifully hand coloured in burgundy, green, blue, black and yellow. The words ‘The Jester’ are written along the bottom of the rim. The rim also has a very pretty design of ivy leaves and Chinese lanterns. In lovely condition, some very light surface marks.
